For Mitchell’s day, we made a whole bunch of freezer meals and delivered them to two sets of families that each had twin infants. We had so much fun bringing the meals to the families. The parents were grateful and the babies were full of smiles. Everywhere we went, we saw yellow. The kids ran through a vibrant patch of dandelions. At the second home, there was a dirt pile full of yellow tractor toys that the kids played in. The sun was shining and smiles were on everyone’s faces. I received emails from both of the moms saying what a help the meals have been and how it has made life less stressful and more enjoyable not having to worry about making a meal. I am so grateful we had the chance to serve and we will definitely be doing Mitchell’s day next year. We all felt the spirit and joy was in the air.
